We are now expanding our capabilities into the education sector by developing an AI-powered educational assistant—a sophisticated AI agent built on top of advanced LLMs . This is a high-impact project with real-world applications and paying customers.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced LLM Engineer to spearhead the development of our AI agent. This role involves designing, fine-tuning, and optimizing large language models for real-time, interactive learning experiences. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in LLM training, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multimodal AI, and AI agent development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize AI agents leveraging LLMs for real-time, interactive educational experiences.
- Fine-tune open-source or proprietary LLMs for enhanced performance.
- Implement RAG, reinforcement learning, and multimodal models for improved learning interactions.
- Integrate the AI agent with speech, vision, and NLP capabilities for seamless user interaction.
- Work with engineers and product teams to deploy AI-driven solutions.
- Ensure the AI model meets accuracy, latency, and scalability requirements.
Requirements
✅ Experience in Natural language processing, and LLM development.
✅ Proven track record of building AI agents on top of LLMs.
✅ Strong expertise in LLM fine-tuning, RAG, reinforcement learning, and multimodal AI.
✅ Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API, and vector databases.
✅ Experience deploying AI models in production environments.
✅ Strong problem-solving and algorithmic thinking skills.
✅ Must be based in the Bay Area (on-site role).
Nice-to-Haves
➕ Experience in educational AI or interactive learning systems.
➕ Background in speech recognition, multimodal AI, or robotics.
➕ Familiarity with edge AI deployment for real-time robotics applications.
