Role Description
We’re looking for founding Software Engineer #1 to build Civic’s core product (AI correspondence management tool) and agentic casework assistants. We seek an experienced engineer to create powerful and safe AI tools for government, delivering 100x better results citizens while addressing the $45B admin overhead of U.S. government.
Qualifications
Full-stack software dev experience; experience developing AI/ML platforms; passion for building things that drive change; desire to improve politics and civic engagement
Location
New York or DC. In-person is strongly preferred.
