We’re looking for an experienced Sales Director / VP who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment, excels at selling services-based solutions, and is excited to introduce a new category of AI-powered data services to engineering leaders.
About the Role
As Director / VP of Sales Account Executive at Immersa, you will drive revenue growth by selling AI-driven data solutions to companies working with data-intensive products. You will work directly with the founders on GTM planning, and innovative strategies to create pipeline and close deals. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to engage engineering and technical product leaders, executes efficiently, and thrives in an iterative, fast-paced environment.
This is a high-impact role with strong growth potential as we transition from founder-led sales to a structured GTM function.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales process from identifying prospects to closing deals, focusing on $100K–$500K contracts with a 2–4 month consultative sales cycle
- Leverage your existing network and outbound efforts to develop a strong pipeline, utilizing third-party data sources to support pipeline generation
- Engage engineering leaders in technical conversations related to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.) to position Immersa’s solutions effectively
- Work closely with the founders to refine customer engagement strategies and craft tailored solutions for AI and data challenges
- Track, forecast, and share revenue insights with the leadership team
- Opportunity to grow into a sales leadership role as the GTM function scales
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, selling data solutions, professional services, or consulting
- Strong existing network and relationships with technical decision-makers at small to mid-sized B2B and B2C companies
- Ability to sell into technical buyers—comfortable engaging engineering leaders and their teams and aligning solutions to their challenges
- Experience with services sales—skilled at selling expertise-driven, high-value solutions rather than off-the-shelf products
- Entrepreneurial mindset—excited to build a book of business, iterate on sales playbooks, and shape GTM strategies
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and execution skills—able to drive deals forward efficiently
- Results-driven, focused on pipeline creation, meetings booked, and closed revenue
- Entrepreneurial mind set, can do attitude, focus on driving outcomes over a process orientation preferred.
- Prior experience at analytics and engineering services providers, such as Tiger Analytics, Fractal, Quantiphi, Perficient, Thoughtworks, Cognizant, Infosys is a plus
