What You'll Do:- Architect and engineer AI-powered logistics assistants through the complete development lifecycle - from conception to deployment and optimization.
- Manage your project workflow, ensuring timely delivery against key milestones.
- Take ownership of product initiatives and help shape our business direction with your contributions.
- Stay ahead of new languages, techniques, and methodologies.
- Collaborate with the team on code and design reviews.
What We’re Looking For:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical background/practical experience.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- San Francisco-based (required).
- Driven by curiosity with a passion for solving complex logistics challenges.
- Strong command of Python or TypeScript programming.
- Commitment to quality through comprehensive testing practices.
- Track record of deploying production systems with proper monitoring, logging, and documentation.
- Proficiency working with large datasets and complex information flows.
- Proficiency building and evolving REST APIs.
- Understanding of distributed computing environments.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Open AI, Anthropic, Llama, and other leading LLMs.
- Authorized to work in the US.
Bonus Points For:- Founder/founding engineer experience.
- Experience building AI agentic applications.
- Prior experience in Logistics, Freight brokerage, Shipping, and Warehouse technologies.
- Machine learning, operations research and optimization, developing large software systems, logistics & fulfillment industry, pricing algorithms, shipping technology.
- Rich GitHub or hackathon accolades or other ways you can show that you love to code.
