AI Agent Developer Intern
Location: Remote | Commitment: 15-20 hrs/week (ongoing, full-time potential)
Incepta | AI Implementation Firm in the Insurance Sector
Incepta is an AI implementation firm that builds custom automation solutions for independent insurance agencies and launches SaaS products when we identify high-impact / repeatable use cases in a single industry. Our goal is to push the limits of AI implementation, turning real-world business inefficiencies into AI-Agents that solve the problem.
We’re not here to recruit just another intern— and you’re not here to do more busywork: we’re hunting for
prodigies. If you’ve shipped
side‑projects, won hackathons, or built your own AI agents from scratch, you know how to move aggressively, learn fast, and take responsibility. Here, you won’t be doing busywork: you’ll make agents for real customers at the end of an established funnel.
This isn’t a run‑of‑the‑mill internship; it’s a launchpad for future leaders. You’ll architect end‑to‑end agents on your own, scope and manage outsourced dev work, drive solutions from concept to deployment—and earn
expanding equity & revenue share in every product you help ship. Exceed expectations, and you’ll lock in a permanent role (and real stake) on our fast‑growing team, shaping the future of AI automation.
At Incepta, we don’t just experiment with AI—we disrupt industries, automate employee roles, and build scalable, market-ready solutions.
If you want to do something real and thrive in high-stakes problem-solving, cutting-edge AI development, and pushing past the limits of what’s possible,
we want to consider you.

- Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, custom services), handling auth, errors, and logging.
- Build lightweight UIs with React + Vite/Tailwind so users can trigger and monitor agents.
- Deploy serverless & scale on AWS Lambda, GCP Functions, or Azure; tune prompts for speed, accuracy, and cost.
- Instrument, iterate, & document—track KPIs, push weekly improvements via Git, and produce concise READMEs / demo videos.

- Multimodel Exposure: Practical experience with at least one other LLM provider (e.g., Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini).
- Cloud Fundamentals: Comfort deploying serverless code on AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, Azure Functions, or Firebase.
- Data Stores: Experience with SQL/NoSQL systems and/or vector databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS).
- Full‑Stack AI Builds: Ability to wire backend logic with AI integrations and lightweight front‑ends.
- Version Control: Daily Git workflow familiarity (branches, PRs, CI basics).
- API Design: Solid grasp of REST/GraphQL patterns and authentication flows.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem‑solving chops, autonomy, and the ability to explain tech concepts to non‑technical teammates.
Preferred Qualifications
(nice to have, not required)
- LangChain / LlamaIndex or other Retrieval‑Augmented Generation frameworks.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker and basic Kubernetes know‑how.
